Dear guests and members of the Bridge Care Suites family,

Your health and the health of our staff is our highest priority! The top management staff of Bridge Care Suites has over 100 years of experience caring for seniors, and infection control is part of our everyday operations. While COVID-19 poses a grave concern, cold and flu season is a risk for seniors every year. Bridge Care Suites maintains a rigorous Infection Control and Prevention Program, which is regularly updated to reflect current CDC guidance.

National Emergency Declaration: Restriction of All Visitors Other than Essential Health Care Professionals to Skilled Nursing Facilities:

Under the direction of the President of the United States, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Bridge Care Suites Skilled Nursing Facility has implemented the following policies:

  1. Take your prescribed medications daily. This is a time for strict compliance.
  2. Frequently wash your hands with soap and water for 30 seconds.
  3. Cover your nose and mouth with your elbow fold, or a tissue, when you cough or sneeze.
  4. Do not shake hands. Practice social distancing in public areas.

  3. Screening of all Bridge Care Suites staff for COVID-19 symptoms or signs of fever or respiratory symptoms prior to entry including temperature checks. Instructing team members to stay home if sick or experiencing virus symptoms, and asking team members to self-quarantine in cases of possible exposure to infectious illness.
  4. Immediately isolating guests who have any signs of COVID-19 symptoms or signs of fever or respiratory symptoms.
  5. Frequent sanitation of common areas with approved disinfectants.
  6. Elimination of all group activities and communal dining.

We, your care providers at Bridge Care Suites, have carefully reviewed all available literature including published articles, World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines and Centers of Disease Control (CDC) statements.  We want to thank our guests, families and team members for their understanding, cooperation and words of support in recent days.
